Everyone loves some good NBA trades, especially when they are focused on former All-Stars.
That is precisely what we have here today, as Bleacher Report’s Greg Swartz recently composed a list of a few NBA trades that contenders should consider making to bolster their title chances.
The list was, as always, full of interesting proposals, but the one that genuinely turned some heads was the trade between the Brooklyn Nets and Dallas Mavericks. Here is a look at the trade proposed by Swartz.
NBA Trades: A look at Bleacher Report’s proposed trade between the Brooklyn Nets and Dallas Mavericks
In the hypothetical deal, the Nets would trade Kyrie Irving and Day’Ron Sharpe to the Mavericks in exchange for Kristaps Porzingis and Jalen Brunson. There would be zero draft picks involved for either side, just the swapping of former All-Stars in Irving and Porzingis, along with a pair of fresh faces in Brunson and Sharpe.
This deal would certainly be a blockbuster if it were to happen. Especially given the circumstances each team currently faces as they attempt to make a deep run into the playoffs and try to take home the Larry O’Brien Trophy.
This deal is sure to garner differing opinions from fans of each team involved. Would either the Nets or Mavericks consider making such a bold move to shake up the NBA this season?
It might be far-fetched, but let us take a closer look at why each team might consider pulling the trigger on it, as well as a final verdict as to whether or not it could realistically happen.
