Top 3 NBA coaches most likely to get fired this season: 3. Quin Snyder, Utah Jazz

High expectations can be the death of some people. That’s the problem with Utah Jazz head coach Quin Snyder. Snyder has radically transformed the team into an NBA powerhouse with the best talent they’ve had in decades.

Yet, the team is still falling short. For example, remember when the Jazz were the number one seed in the West last year? Yet, they still didn’t make the Finals.

They are performing magnificently again this season, but many analysts don’t see them as viable Finals contenders. If they do indeed come up short again, you can bet that Snyder might be given the heave-ho.

He’s doing a great job, there is no doubt about that; but none of that matters unless the Jazz truly capitalize on their talent and actually make it all the way.

Quin Snyder wouldn’t be the first coach with a winning record to be fired. It has happened again and again throughout the history of the NBA.

That’s because, in this league, unless you’re winning the championship, you are not meeting your goal. Snyder has had several years to bring home the trophy to Utah. This might be his last chance.
