NBA: Ranking the league’s best third options: 25. Devonte Graham, New Orleans Pelicans

Without Zion Williamson in the mix, the New Orleans Pelicans are struggling everywhere. Seemingly every night, they’re finding new ways to lose. Once he gets back into the swing of things, everyone should take a step back in terms of where they are in the scoring pecking order. For now, we’ll remain under the assumption that he isn’t coming back anytime soon.

Currently, Devonte Graham is their third-best player on offense. Truth be told, he’s pretty good. He’s more than capable of dropping 20 points on a given night. The only problem for Graham is his efficiency, or lack thereof.

In now his fourth year overall, Graham has yet to shoot at least 40% from the field. And while he has all of the offensive moves in the world, until he proves that he can score at a decent rate without throwing up a ton of bricks in the process, he’ll continue to stay at the bottom of our list.
