NBA Trades: One Ben Simmons trade for every NBA team – Dallas Mavericks

Since drafting Luka Doncic, the clock has been ticking for the Dallas Mavericks to add high-end talent around him to help him compete at the highest level. Kristaps Porzingis was a move that was lauded highly at the time, but moving him down the totem pole would do the team well.

Furthermore, in recent years the team has been looking for a playmaker to play alongside Doncic in an attempt to remove some of those responsibilities from the potential MVP.

Simmons makes complete sense on this team. He would create an abundance of open looks for Porzingis on the perimeter, not to mention newly added lockdown shooter Reggie Bullock.

He would add perimeter defense, something that Doncic does not quite bring to the table. This is the type of move the Mavericks should be calling about every day.

For the Sixers, Tim Hardaway Jr. would bring a dynamic scorer into the fold. Much like when they nabbed Seth Curry from the Mavericks, Hardaway would immediately make an impact.

He has shot 38.3 percent from distance over four seasons with the Mavericks and has the ability to take over games. Dwight Powell is the current scapegoat for many Mavericks fans, but he would add a solid energy big to the bench for the Sixers.
