NBA Trades: One Ben Simmons trade for every NBA team – Utah Jazz

The messiness of trading Ben Simmons to the Utah Jazz would make such a move fascinating to watch from the outside. The comments about Gobert versus Simmons for Defensive Player of the Year in recent seasons have seemed to make things untenable, to say the least.

Add to that the meme-worthy attire Donovan Mitchell showed up to the arena in when campaigning against Simmons for Rookie of the Year back in the day, and this could be a true circus.

However, getting beyond that would pair two of the three most dominant defenders in the league together. Being able to take away the perimeter and the rim would solve plenty of the postseason issues the team faced in recent years when it comes to tangling with elite wing scorers.

Mike Conley has been super solid since coming to the Jazz and would be a welcomed addition to a team in need of a veteran playmaker. Bojan Bogdanovic is somewhat streaky but has had huge moments in the postseason. Jared Butler would have been a first-round pick a year ago if not for the flagged heart issue and is a worthwhile project. This would never happen, but the Jazz really would do well to consider it.
