NBA Trades: One Ben Simmons trade for every NBA team – Toronto Raptors
Scottie Barnes being one of the front runners for the Rookie of the Year has made things clearer for the Toronto Raptors moving forward. OG Anunoby’s breakout this season has further cemented that a young, switching defense would give them the potential moving forward to be one of the most frustrating teams in the league to play against at all times.
Simmons would fit in perfectly, and given that Pascal Siakam has been floated in trade rumors for the better part of a year, this move is appealing.
However, if the Sixers were to bring in Siakam, there would be little reason for Tobias Harris to remain with the team. To make the money work from there, Fred VanVleet and Goran Dragic would be spun back the Sixers.
These are three players with noted playoff experience who would bring the right veteran mentality to a Philadelphia team looking to finally get past the second round of the playoffs.
VanVleet is made for the postseason and for the city he would be moving to. Goran Dragic proved during Miami’s run to the Finals that he is an absolute assassin. With this much more help, he would not have to push his body to the brink to do so.
