NBA Trades: One Ben Simmons trade for every NBA team – Sacramento Kings

I previously wrote about a possible move for the Sixers and Sacramento Kings to make over the summer, but over time things have changed slightly. With the firing of Luke Walton, perhaps Buddy Hield will finally be put in a place to succeed with the team.

De’Aaron Fox, however, has been struggling this season. It is time for a change for both Fox and the Kings, and this is the chance to establish the defensive identity for the next era of Kings basketball.

Do not look at the diminished numbers this season. Last year Fox looked like one of the blossoming stars in this league. He posted an average of 25.2 points, 7.2 assists, 3.5 rebounds, and 1.5 steals per game.

Fox has never been much of a shooter (career 32.0 percent from distance), but he is a willing offensive initiator, which is an improvement for the Sixers. Harrison Barnes has now quietly been the best player for the Kings for the better part of two seasons and would be an elite wing for the Sixers.

Both players would be finally given a chance to win, one for the first time in his career, and the other for the first time since leaving the Golden State Warriors.
