NBA Trades: One Ben Simmons trade for every NBA team – LA Clippers

One of the sleeping giants in the Ben Simmons trade market is the LA Clippers. Despite an injury to Kawhi Leonard that has derailed the title aspirations of the squad, for the time being, taking a swing on talent could be the move that re-establishes their dominance upon Leonard’s return. Paul George has been playing like an MVP candidate, so this would give the Sixers a chance to do right by him.

Eric Bledsoe has been blatantly bad with the Clippers (and admittedly has been since his second to last season with the Milwaukee Bucks). When he is on the court the team watches their offensive and defensive ratings tank. He is exclusively involved in this Ben Simmons trade as a salary filler.

Luke Kennard is the diamond in the rough that the Sixers would be taking a swing on. Despite lavishing him with a contract extension before last season, Kennard regularly finds himself on the outside of the rotation looking in.

This has always been befuddling as Kennard is one of the better playmakers on the team and is shooting 44.4 percent from distance over his two seasons with the team. He would flourish in Philadelphia.

To complete the Ben Simmons trade, the Clippers would have to involve one of their multiple young guards regularly trapped on the bench. Keon Johnson or Brandon Boston would both fit nicely as a flier for the Sixers to take.
