NBA Trades: One Ben Simmons trade for every NBA team – Indiana Pacers
One of the most discussed offers during the offseason involved the Indiana Pacers attempting to offer Malcolm Brogdon and more for Simmons. At the time, the Sixers balked, and now, following a contract extension, Brogdon is not eligible to be traded.
However, the Pacers remain one of the more confusing teams in the league and likely need to make a move to finally shake up this core. With Brogdon not able to be traded, TJ Warren perennially injured, and Myles Turner being a questionable fit next to Joel Embiid, the Sixers could look to land on the duo of Caris LeVert and Domantas Sabonis.
Sabonis is a two-time All-Star who is used to playing alongside another center to varying degrees of success. He is the smartest passing big man in the game this side of Nikola Jokic, opening up the offense for the Sixers upon arrival. In recent seasons he has even started to extend his shooting range, essential for him to pair well with Embiid.
LeVert has been something of a health enigma since entering the league, but he has a strong scoring touch and would only be tasked with doing so in spurts as opposed to constantly. His fit with the Pacers has always been a little iffy, watching his scoring average plummet since being traded. Moving him to a more favorable offense could do wonders for him, and in turn, the Sixers.
