NBA Trades: One Ben Simmons trade for every NBA team – Houston Rockets

If the Houston Rockets are given a second chance to add Ben Simmons (they should not be given this chance) they must pounce on that opportunity. For a team whose biggest issue this year has been the best point guard on the active roster being DJ Augustin, Simmons would change the developmental future of their young prospects. He would put the young players in the best position to succeed on a nightly basis while fitting their timeline perfectly.

Now for the Sixers, adding Eric Gordon and Christian Wood to the team would flesh out the roster well. Wood is an All-Star in the making, a big who can stretch the floor, and someone who could fill a complimentary rebounding role. Simply checking out his Twitter account will make it clear that he is thirsting to be put in a winning situation, meaning the change of scenery would do him plenty good.

Eric Gordon is the kind of player every playoff team would be looking to add for the home stretch. He has bounced back in a major way from an efficiency standpoint this season, knocking down 43.1 percent of his 3-point attempts so far.

He has the playoff pedigree to fit in with a team looking to win it all and would likely be rejuvenated to be playing in the Eastern Conference for the first time.
