One thing every NBA team has to be thankful for on Thanksgiving: Golden State Warriors – Jonathan Kuminga’s defense

It looks like Kuminga might be ready to contribute this year after all. In fact, he… hahahaha sorry I can’t keep going. It’s Steph Curry. Warriors fans are thankful for Steph Curry. The man’s having the best all-around season of his career at the age of 33, which is tough to do for a two-time MVP.

ESPN’s Kirk Goldsberry gave us some golden graphics illustrating these points recently:

At this point, there isn’t much to say. Watching Steph Curry play basketball is probably the most joyous experience that a basketball fan can have.

But it’s not just on offense. Defensively, Curry is averaging the highest block rate and lowest foul rate of his career. He knows exactly where to be at all times and smartly forces his mark towards help when needed. Steph is rebounding at a career-high level, too.

The Warriors have had a lot to be thankful for over the last decade, and Golden State looks like a championship contender this year even without Klay Thompson. With him back in the fold and Steph playing at an all-time level, the Warriors may very well be the favorite to hoist the Larry O’Brien Trophy at year’s end yet again.
