5 superstar NBA players that desperately need help: 4. Jayson Tatum & Jaylen Brown

After hilariously robbing the Brooklyn Nets of any kind of relevance for about 5 years in a row, the Boston Celtics did an absolutely tremendous job when it came to drafting the correct players.

Starting from 2014 all the way to 2018, they drafted Marcus Smart, Terry Rozier, Jaylen Brown, Jayson Tatum and Robert Williams using first-round picks that mainly originally belonged to the Nets.

When comparing the Celtics to the Hawks, the situation is entirely day-and-night. You gotta hand it to Danny Ainge, as he’s tried countless times to bring in enough talent to compete for an entire decade, regardless of whether it worked out or not.

Throughout these years, they brought in Isaiah Thomas, Kyrie Irving, Gordon Hayward, Kemba Walker, Evan Fournier, and Al Horford (twice). It’s fair to say that these are some pretty big names across the basketball world that looked good, at least on paper.

Unfortunately, they never quite managed to get them to the NBA Finals, and nearly all the aforementioned departed Boston.

Both Brown and Tatum are slowly entering the prime of their respective careers, and for the first time in their NBA journey, all they have is each other. Ainge is no longer a part of the team, and right now, some help would be much appreciated by the star duo.
