Ranking all 30 NBA jerseys: 2. Chicago Bulls

The Chicago Bulls dominated the 1990s, not just on the basketball court, but by capturing the attention of an entire world of people. Michael Jordan didn’t just play basketball, he became one of the most household names in American history. Who else other than President is as recognizable as MJ?

Accordingly, his jersey has become the look of basketball excellence for an entire generation and more. The red jersey, black letters, large bold numbers: that is what winning at basketball looks like. Even when the Bulls haven’t been winning, they have known enough to keep that classic look.

The downside is that the Bulls actually have a great logo. A Bull doesn’t have anything to do with Chicago, but it looks great and deserves some treatment somewhere in the jersey art. He barely gets onto the shorts in each of their three looks.

Wife Take: I don’t know the history of the Bulls jerseys, but that looks like what I remember Michael Jordan wearing. It seems classic. I see that and I think “greatness.”
