Ranking all 30 NBA jerseys: 12. Charlotte Hornets

We are getting to the point in the rankings where I like the jerseys for every team. I will have critiques as they come up, but for the most part, I think what these teams are doing with their jerseys is solid.

That includes the Charlotte Hornets, who are similar to the Suns in that they have some great colors to work with and do the most with them. The difference is that their Statement jersey (seen above) looks absolutely gorgeous.

The teal looks beautiful against the purple, and props to LaMelo Ball in that photo for adding the teal arm sleeve. The font is bold and chunky, which works with the abbreviated name, an abbreviation that works great for anyone who has ever flown into or out of the Charlotte airport (CHA being its designation).

It’s also great that the Jumpman logo goes on all the Hornets’ jerseys since Michael Jordan owns the team. The all-teal jerseys look good too, although why the pinstripes don’t continue onto the shorts is a bit peculiar. The secondary Hornets logo on the shorts even looks good. I wish there was a honeycomb pattern somewhere, but that’s a small quibble.
