Why Milwaukee Bucks fans should not worry: Injuries

It’s almost impossible to perform up to normal standards when key players miss games. No team in the NBA knows this better than the Milwaukee Bucks. Khris Middleton missed games early in the season due to health and safety protocols, Donte DiVincenzo is yet to appear in a single contest after getting injured during last season’s playoffs, and veterans George Hill and Brook Lopez have both missed multiple games due to back injuries. The injury bug has hit Milwaukee hard, and the evidence can be found in their record thus far.

Khris Middleton is capable of single-handedly tilting the outcome of a playoff game with his shooting and playmaking ability. George Hill is a reliable floor general who’s been a part of several deep playoff runs in his career; his leadership is priceless.

Brook Lopez has become a reliable rim protector and his ability to knock down open jump shots is well documented. Donte DiVincenzo is a young wing player with a tremendous upside. If Milwaukee is able to give these players the rest they need to return at 100 percent, the rest of the Eastern Conference should be very concerned heading into the playoffs.

Winning back-to-back championships is never an easy task. For teams who were knocking on the door for several years before finally being able to kick it open, the fatigue is hard to hide.

The Milwaukee Bucks had several great regular seasons and deep playoff runs before finally being crowned as champions. They are off to a slow start, but their fans have no reason to be concerned. This is a veteran-led team with an experienced head coach. This team will find a way to get it together and get back to winning. They always do.
