NBA trades to make the Golden State Warriors title favorites: Christian Wood

Warriors get: Christian Wood

Rockets get: James Wiseman, Moses Moody

Christian Wood has struggled lately for the Houston Rockets, but it’s clear how big of an impact he can have. He could be the perfect center for the Golden State Warriors.

James Wiseman has been out with an injury all season, and Moses Moody gets little to no playing time. However, they would both be great additions for the Rockets.

Moody would get a chance to flourish in Houston, and the same can be said for Wiseman once he gets back from injury. They would both be key pieces to Houston’s rebuild.

Meanwhile, Wood would be a solid upgrade to the starting center position for the Warriors. He can space the floor, he can defend, and that’s all Golden State will need him to do.

On top of that, he could provide Stephen Curry with another pick n’ roll option who doubles as a lob threat. It just seems like the perfect match for what the Warriors are doing.

Considering how few rotation pieces the Warriors would be giving up, this seems like a no-brainer for them. At the same time, the Rockets should jump at the chance to add players with as much potential as Wiseman and Moody.

For where each team is at right now, this trade is an easy one to make. The Warriors go all-in for the next two seasons, and the Rockets add future building blocks.
