Week 4 NBA Power Rankings: 24. Sacramento Kings (5-8)

Previous: 22nd. Sacramento Kings. 24. team. 84. . 5-8

Last week: (0-4) – vs. IND (L), vs. PHX (L), @ SAS (L), @ OKC (L)

Offensive rating: 109.1 (9th in NBA)

Defensive rating: 109.6 (24th in NBA)

The Sacramento Kings started off the season 5-4, but have gone on a four-game losing streak since. The woes in Sactown seem to be continuing on for another season.

In a weird twist of fate, their defense hasn’t been the main issue causing them to lose games. Instead, their offense has been one of the worst in the league over that time.

De’Aaron Fox has actually picked things up recently, but the rest of the team seems to have gone cold. After his hot start, Harrison Barnes has seriously cooled down from three-point range.

Three of Sacramento’s four losses in the past week have been against teams that are under .500. Fans must be getting frustrated as their team continues to play poorly.

Season outlook: This is not where the Kings wanted to be in their rebuild at all. At this point, they should easily be fighting for a play-in spot at the very least. However, with the way things are trending at the moment, they might end up in the lottery once again.
