NBA player rankings week 4: 2. Stephen Curry

The Golden State Warriors are the best team in the NBA, and Stephen Curry is the best player on that team. However, despite all that, he is only the second-best player in the NBA.

Team success: As mentioned, the Warriors are by far the best team in the NBA right now. They are 10-1, and no other team has less than three losses this year.

They have a very well-put-together team around Curry and everything had fallen into place. Just imagine how good they’ll be once Klay Thompson makes his return.

Player stats: Curry is averaging 27.4 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 6.5 assists so far this season. He’s shooting 43,4 percent from the field and 38.5 percent from three-point land.

The craziest part about that is, those shooting splits are lower than what Curry normally puts up. He’s playing incredible basketball, and he still has room for improvement.

Reason for rank: It’s undeniable how amazing Curry has been this season. It was an easy choice to put him among the top-two players in the league.

The only reason he’s not number one is because of the ridiculous numbers the player above him is putting up. If this next player didn’t exist, Curry would be the best player in the NBA right now by far.
