The NBA is off to one of the weirdest starts in league history. The standings are all over the place, and a lot of teams that were supposed to be great are struggling.

A big part of this can be attributed to offense around the league hitting historic lows. Numbers are down across the board, and both the players and teams are feeling the effects.

Stars such as Trae Young, Damian Lillard, Jayson Tatum, and Devin Booker have struggled out of the gate. In turn, their teams are not nearly as high in the standings as they’d like to be.

Even teams such as the Milwaukee Bucks and Denver Nuggets have gotten off to rough starts this season. Most teams are struggling to see the same success they have had in previous years.

Week 3 NBA power rankings: A weird start to the season had led to weird results

That being said, some teams are thriving this season. The Philadelphia 76ers haven’t slowed down at all, and interestingly enough, their three-point shooting seems to have improved for some reason.

In addition, teams such as the Brooklyn Nets and Los Angeles Lakers are beginning to turn things around. This past week was a huge one for some of the top teams in the league.

Another interesting development is the depth of the Eastern Conference. A lot of teams that were expected to be in the lottery have emerged as potential play-in hopefuls (shoutout to the Cavaliers and Raptors).

Overall, the NBA power rankings could look a lot different this week than they did just a week ago. So, without further adieu, where does your favorite team rank in this week’s power rankings?
