Ranking all 30 2021-2022 NBA City Edition jerseys: 9. Toronto Raptors

Deciding where to rank the Toronto Raptors jerseys required weighing a few factors. The OVO colorway has been omnipresent since Drake has been with the organization.

It looked good a few years ago, but now it feels like it has been played out. However, the big dinosaur logo from the past cannot be featured enough, and therefore the Raptors still retain a high place on this list.

Ranking all 30 2021-2022 NBA City Edition jerseys: 8. Memphis Grizzlies

Generally, the Memphis Grizzlies jerseys are simple and clean, not taking a ton of chances. The colors always look good together and the trim is a unique touch, but otherwise, the top half of the set is straightforward.

However, in a recurring theme, incorporating a 1990s logo can take you very far. The big bear from the Vancouver days looks impeccable in the Memphis colorway. The shorts (and warmups) truly carry these uniforms.

Ranking all 30 2021-2022 NBA City Edition jerseys: 7. Sacramento Kings

Something about the moniker “Sactown” still looks odd on a jersey. Not because some could construe it as euphemistic, but because as a traditionalist, the preference is to either have the city or team name on the jersey.

There are rare exceptions to this rule but that is not the case here. Otherwise, the jerseys are flawless. Paying homage to the fantastic teams of the early turn of the century is a nice thought. Black and purple have always worked, especially when the team is winning.
