Ranking all 30 2021-2022 NBA City Edition jerseys: 27. Boston Celtics

Year after year, the Boston Celtics submit a uniform that unofficially comes across as them sitting out on the creative process. However, the white block on the back and the retro logo on the belt buckle are neat features.

The font and numbers are solid. Finally, they do not look ugly. That being said, they could also pass as a jersey from any other season, leading to a general malaise.

Ranking all 30 2021-2022 NBA City Edition jerseys: 26. Golden State Warriors

From afar, the Golden State Warriors selected a boring jersey design. The details, however, add a spark that can too easily be missed. Adding lining that says “We Believe” is a fun nod to one of the most enjoyable first-round series in recent history.

The logo featuring a design replicating the roof from Oracle is a nod to their former home. Even the championship representation patch is a good kind of different. However, being plain overall takes this below some of the others. As does the corny water drop for the Splash Brothers.

Ranking all 30 2021-2022 NBA City Edition jerseys: 25. New York Knicks

Clean is not enough to get a jersey high on this list. The New York Knicks put together a squeaky-clean set and the black looks good. The patch representing Madison Square Garden is a nice touch, too. However, this is a tough grading class, and when compared to the rest of the group, this is where things fall.
