NBA: Most likely first time All-Stars from each team: Washington Wizards – Kyle Kuzma
The training wheels are officially off and expectations are higher than they’ve ever been.
Kyle Kuzma had a strong start to his NBA career, dropping 16.1 points per game in year one and 18.7 in year two but things have gone downhill since then.
Now, averages of 12.8 and 12.9 points per game aren’t bad numbers at all but Los Angeles Lakers fans and the franchise, in general, grew tired of the inconsistency of Kuzma. As a member of the Washington Wizards, he’ll have to up his game if he wants voters to be a bit malleable towards his All-Star Game hopes.
Kuzma has the skills to make it happen. He’s a 6’10 power forward with decent guard skills and is a capable defender. Will Kuzma be able to drop close to 20 points a night? Considering the lack of talent on the Wizards, there’s a good chance that he can. If Kuzma can get back to his normal self and become a significant piece to a resurgent Wizards team, he’ll win voters over.
