Odds of every NBA team winning 2021-22 title: Golden State Warriors +900

The season of the Golden State Warriors can go a ton of different ways. From hoisting the Larry O’Brien trophy to failing to make the playoffs altogether, the Warriors season has a long list of great and terrible directions it can head into.

The likely course that it goes, however, is a playoff berth but a short and uneventful run. The Warriors have a number of things working in their favor. For starters, Andrew Wiggins proved to be one helluva second option. The ninth year forward dropped 18.6 points per game in his first full season in Steve Kerr’s system. Not only did he prove that he was a reliable second option but now, with Klay Thompson set to make his return sometime this year, he’ll be even better as a third scorer.

But even with the Warriors having a long list of options as far as scorers go and despite the Swiss Army knife capabilities of Draymond Green, the Warriors have a ton of teams ahead of them. From the Los Angeles Lakers to the Brooklyn Nets. Granted, they did knock off the Lakers in the first game of the season but we’ll chalk that one up to the Lakers trying to find their rhythm. In the end, a championship parade isn’t in this team’s immediate future.
