Odds of every NBA team winning 2021-22 title: Phoenix Suns +1500

It’s pretty tempting to reach deep into your pockets and throw a few bucks on the Phoenix Suns. For anyone who did already, who can blame them? The Suns were just a few plays away from winning it all last year. Most importantly, they brought back essentially their entire team. Devin Booker is locked up for the foreseeable future, Chris Paul just signed a long-term extension and so did Mikal Bridges.

Big man Deandre Ayton hasn’t inked his name to a substantial deal as of yet, but you gotta think that the Suns won’t allow the big man to walk out the door anytime soon.

Common sense would tell you that since the Suns are bringing the band back, they’ll have similar success, wrong.

The Suns had somewhat of a fortuitous year. They were fortunate to be playing a banged-up Laker squad in round one. The Denver Nuggets were without Jamal Murray in the second round of the playoffs and the LA Clippers were without the services of Kawhi Leonard. Unless they get those sorts of breaks again, the Suns won’t be making a deep run through the playoffs this upcoming year.
