Odds of every NBA team winning 2021-22 title: Philadelphia 76ers +2000

Call us crazy but with Ben Simmons essentially out the door, the Philadelphia 76ers should have an even better chance at winning it all this year.

Sure, Simmons is incredibly talented. He’s possibly the best defender in the league, is a terrific passer and has a tremendous basketball IQ. He just can’t shoot. Like at all.

Everything that Simmons brings to the table is valuable but if you can’t get buckets when it matters most, then the team will struggle. Simmons can’t shoot anywhere and refuses to do so. Taking him out of the lineup will now open up things for Joel Embiid to be even more dominant down low. Also, Seth Curry’s minutes should go through the roof and Tobias Harris will now have the ball in his hands more.

We also can’t forget that at some point, Simmons will officially be traded. His trade value around the league isn’t as high as it once was, but he should still net a small fortune for the 76ers whenever they’re ready to pull the trigger.
