Odds of every NBA team winning 2021-22 title: Los Angeles Clippers +2500

Bettors should be careful.

For the past few years, the LA Clippers have been one of the betting publics’ favorite plays. That isn’t exactly surprising. If you take a close, hard look at their roster, you’ll notice that they have just about everything that they need.

Reggie Jackson has found his form. Ivica Zubac and Serge Ibaka provide a ton of muscle down low. Terence Mann could be the front runner for Most Improved Player this season. Paul George is in the conversation for best sidekick in the NBA and Kawhi Leonard is every bit a superstar.

The only problem is, Leonard could miss the entire season with a torn ACL. It’s really that simple. If Leonard comes back and looks like his old dominant self, then the Clippers could become a great value play later down the line. But, Leonard has never shown a propensity to rush back after an injury. In fact, he’s often taken his time.

The Clippers’ season boils down to two things. Whether Leonard plays or if he opts to sit until next year. We believe it’ll be the latter. With no Leonard on the floor, this team would be lucky to make the eighth seed, let alone a Finals trip.
