Odds of every NBA team winning 2021-22 title: Boston Celtics +4000

What happened to the Boston Celtics?

Remember those years when everyone looked at the Celtics as having a ridiculously huge championship window? Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown were super talented forwards and former lead man Danny Ainge had about 9,000 draft picks.

The problem for the Celtics was that they never did much of anything with that draft capital, often opting to hold on to it as opposed to going out there and making some huge moves. In the end, it cost them as their now a middle of the pack team.

There’s nothing that the Celtics do that truly captures your attention. Their once glittering offense ranked 16th in the entire league last season. With Kemba Walker now playing under the bright lights associated with Madison Square Garden in New York, the Celtics should plummet even further down the offensive charts.

Brown and Tatum have lived up to the hype. And bringing back Al Horford was a big-time move, but the Celtics have absolutely nothing to offer bettors. Simply put, they won’t be making a title run this year or anytime soon.
