Odds of every NBA team winning 2021-22 title: New York Knicks +7500

If you were to go around and ask fans of the New York Knicks, they’ll tell you that their home team will win every single game. Knicks fans will also convince you that the Knickerbockers are going to run through the playoffs and take home an NBA title.

We aren’t willing to go that far.

The Knicks were one of the surprise teams of the 2020-21 season. Expected to finish at the bottom of the Eastern Conference barrel, the Knicks managed to grab home-court advantage with a top-four seed but were sent home packing after just five games to the Atlanta Hawks.

They’ve made some upgrades in the offseason. Evan Fournier is a solid pickup. So is Kemba Walker, especially if he can stay healthy for the entire calendar year. But while the Knicks should be able to take a few steps forward, we actually believe they’ll take several back. On paper, they’re much better, but the East has gotten so much better as well.

Sorry Knicks fans but they aren’t going to grab a top-four seed, they aren’t going to catch the league off guard either. And oh yeah, the Knicks are going to win a title.
