Atlanta Hawks statistical leaders – 2-point percentage: John Collins
Predicted percentage: 57.5

John Collins is a dynamic scorer from the forward position, and he beats out Clint Capela by a hair here in the competition for top 2-point shooting percentage. Collins is lethal from just about everywhere, and he’s deadly around the basket and from the mid-range. The race for 2-point percentage between Collins and Capela might be close, but the total volume of points scored from that range won’t be.

Atlanta Hawks statistical leaders – 3-point percentage: Bogdan Bogdanovic
Predicted percentage: 42.5

Bogdan Bogdanovic is coming off an explosive 3-point shooting performance, by far the best of his career. He was a 37.4 percent shooter from long range before 2020-21 when he went out and shot 43.8 percent in his first season with the Hawks. It may have been a surprise to see him light it up like that, but we shouldn’t expect to see him regress much, if any, alongside Trae Young.

Atlanta Hawks statistical leaders – Free-throw shooting percentage: Danilo Gallinari
Predicted percentage: 90.5

The Hawks have a number of candidates who can challenge for the honor of Best Free-Throw Shooter, but Danilo Gallinary gets the nod due to his longevity as an excellent shooter from the stripe. He’s shooting 90.5 percent from the line since 2017, and that seems just about right for him this season as well.
