Miami Heat statistical leaders – Rebounding: Bam Adebayo
Predicted Average: 9.3

Last season Bam Adebayo averaged a team-high 9.0 rebounds which is a solid number. He was the only Heat player who was able to average more than 2.0 offensive rebounds per game for the season which helped him lead the team. The addition of Morris is going to take some of the rebounds away but his defense, along with Tucker’s, will also generate a lower percentage shot from the opposition offense, potentially meaning more rebounds to go around.

Miami Heat statistical leaders – Assists: Kyle Lowry
Predicted Average: 7.8

In the first preseason game against the Atlanta Hawks, Lowry showed why he has been one of the best point guards in the league for a long time. He was the point guard in the Raptors championship-winning team back in 2019 and he still has the ability to run an efficient offense. As mentioned earlier, he will take the ball out of Butler’s hand more than Dragic could, meaning that Butler will probably only get around 5.0 assists per game.

Miami Heat statistical leaders – Stocks: Bam Adebayo
Predicted Average: 2.5

With the ball out of his hand a little more on offense, it is a big call that Butler will not have more of an impact on the defensive end. He averaged 2.1 steals per game last season. However, the addition of Morris to bolster the frontcourt defense means that Avbebayo is going to have more opportunities to protect the paint. He is a sneaky option for leading the league in blocks per game this season.
