Los Angeles Lakers statistical leaders – Rebounding: DeAndre Jordan
Predicted Average: 9.5

The Lakers have an incredible number of players who can average large numbers of rebounds during the season. They have one of the best rebounding guards in history, Westbrook who has averaged more than 10.0 rebounds for a season on a number of occasions.

They have Howard who is 11th on the All-Time list for rebounding, as well as Davis and James who can crash the boards effectively. However, DeAndre Jordan will outrebound them all as he is one of the best on the glass in his generation.

Los Angeles Lakers statistical leaders – Assists: Russell Westbrook
Predicted Average: 8.9

As with the rebounding, the Lakers have a multitude of players who are very good playmakers. Rajon Rondo has led the league three times in this category, James has led the league once. It will be Westbrook who will be trusted with the ball in his hand for the most part. He showed that he could help Bradley Beal increase his scoring numbers last season so will be the Lakers’ main playmaker.

Los Angeles Lakers statistical leaders – Stocks: Anthony Davis
Predicted Average: 3.2

Davis is one of the best defensive players in the league at the moment. He led the Lakers in both blocks and steals last season. He will do it again this season, especially as he has a greater level of help this season in the frontcourt.
