Philadelphia 76ers statistical leaders – Rebounding: Joel Embiid
Predicted Average: 11.6

This is another area where the loss of Simmons is going to have a major impact. The 76ers also lost their second-leading rebounder, Dwight Howard who went back to the Los Angeles Lakers in free agency.

They picked up one of the best rebounders of his generation when they signed Andre Drummond. He will swallow up rebounds when he is on the court but will not get enough court time with Embiid taking most of the minutes at the pivot. Embiid averaged 10.6 per game last season with Simmons in the lineup.

Philadelphia 76ers statistical leaders – Assists: Seth Curry
Predicted Average:  5.1

Simmons led this category last season, being the primary ball-handler. However, with him out of the lineup, the ball-handling duties will fall to Seth Curry. He only had 2.7 assists per game last season which was good for fifth on the team. However, Curry needs to show that he is more than just a perimeter sniper, creating for others as well as himself.

Philadelphia 76ers statistical leaders – Stocks: Matisse Thybulle
Predicted Average:  2.9

Last season Simmons and Matisse Thybulle averaged 1.6 steals per game. Thybulle was also second in blocks per game with 1.1, behind only Embiid who had 1.4 per game. Thybulle is going to get greater playing time this season without Simmons in the lineup. As a result, the future Defensive Player of the Year will show the Association everything he has.
