Golden State Warriors free agency signing No. 4: Stephen Curry

The Golden State Warriors made the only move they could with Stephen Curry this offseason, they offered him every single penny that they could. He agreed to a four-year, $215 million extension which takes him through to the 2025-26 season when he will be 35 years old.

This means that in the last two contracts Curry will have earned $416.0 million over nine seasons. While this number is astronomical, there is no question that Curry has been worth it. The three-time NBA champion, two-time MVP, and two-time scoring champion still has plenty to give and will continue to bring it to the court every night.

If his backcourt partner can come back anywhere the player he was from two seasons ago, the Warriors are automatically a threat to win it all again. They have continued to stockpile a nice playing group which is led by the brilliance of Curry.

The Warriors have gone all-in on the seven-time All-NBA team player and why wouldn’t you. He has a proven track record in the league, especially in the biggest moments, and is the best hope the Warriors have of leading them to another championship before this era is officially closed.
