Predicting the stat leaders for every NBA team
Predicting the stat leaders for the Phoenix Suns in 2020-21
We would love to run you through a few curious fences and confuse you a bit but the Phoenix Suns are entirely too easy to predict who will lead them in points, rebounds, and assists during the upcoming season.
Suns points per game leader: Devin Booker
To start things off, Devin Booker will take care of business in the scoring department. The multiple-time All-Star is one of the best scorers in the NBA and has consistently put up the sort of numbers that makes the opposition scratch its head. Also, considering that he was the only player to average over 20 points on the Suns, no one else will come close this season.
Suns rebounds per game leader: Deandre Ayton
Deandre Ayton finally made the Suns proud for taking him with the number one overall pick in the 2018 NBA Draft over the likes of Luka Donic and Trae Young. He’s averaged 10.6 boards for his brief career and he’ll clean up the glass nicely for the Suns this upcoming year.
Suns assists per game leader: Chris Paul
Of course, last but certainly not least will be Chris Paul. Essentially everywhere he goes, he leads that ball club in assists per game. He managed to dish out 8.9 a night for Phoenix last season and with more continuity this upcoming year, he’ll challenge for the league-leading spot in that department.
