Predicting the stat leaders for the Indiana Pacers in 2020-21
Having such a balanced team on the offensive end, gave us an immeasurable headache when it came down to figuring out who will lead the Indiana Pacers in points per game. Luckily for you, we believe we have it all figured out.
Pacers points per game leader: Caris LeVert
While Malcolm Brogdon ultimately lead them this past season, it’ll be Caris LeVert who gets the job done this upcoming year.
In 35 games after being traded from the Brooklyn Nets, LeVert averaged 20.7 points a night. As impressive as that was, LeVert should be even better now that he’s had an entire training camp under his belt.
Pacers rebounds and assists per game leader: Domantas Sabonis
Domantas Sabonis will easily lead Indiana in rebounding. Their big man in the middle, Myles Turner, does everything but play big. Sabonis has transformed into one of the game’s best rebounders and he’ll be able to clean the glass effectively this upcoming year.
Also, in addition to leading the Pacers in rebounding, Sabonis will repeat as the team’s best passer. Brogdon has developed into more of a score-first point guard, LeVert has never met a shot he didn’t like and backup point heard T.J McConnell won’t play enough minutes to rack up enough assists to surpass Sabonis.
