Lakers prediction No. 1: No team takes the Lakers to seven games

Leading into the boldest prediction of them all, predicting the final outcome of an NBA season a month before tip-off is no easy task. However, history has taught us that you can never go wrong when betting in LeBron’s favor.

Even though we are talking about a newly-formed team, the chemistry of the squad will be off the charts. James-Davis-Howard-Rondo is a combination that has worked wonders in the past in the 2019-20 modern-day Showtime Lakers.

The additions of Carmelo and Russ will only help with that, as they have prior experience with LeBron in those amazing USA teams and All-Star games, as well as some great friendships outside the court.

The Western Conference is not weak by any means, but it is much weaker nowadays. Baring any unpleasant surprises, the Los Angeles Lakers should be able to sail their way to the NBA Finals rather smoothly.

When compared to the giants in the East, the main area where Frank Vogel comes out on top is the hilarious bench depth that will let him run an infinite number of effective lineups.

People could say that this won’t be happening anymore since LeBron is entering the latter stages of his career. People are quick to forget, though, that playoff Bron is a whole different species and arguably the greatest player to ever lace ’em up.
