Brooklyn Nets: Predicting starting and ending NBA 2K22 player ratings
By Duncan Smith
Reasons for Brooklyn Nets player movement
With Kevin Durant having the best rating in the game (tied with LeBron James, Giannis Antetokounmpo and Steph Curry) at 96 overall, and James Harden trailing slightly behind at 94, there isn’t a whole lot of room for upwards movement. Still, both of these players are probably rated too low and that should correct as the season goes on and they battle for split MVP votes.
Kyrie Irving can only benefit from playing with these two, as well. Whether he plays mostly with starters, thus almost always having at least one of them alongside him, or he plays with the bench and thus gets to destroy reserve units, this is going to be a fantastic season for him.
Blake Griffin is an interesting case. He was washed with the Detroit Pistons, asked to be the centrifugal force of the offense far too often for what his battered knee would allow, but in Brooklyn he’ll be able to be the fourth or fifth option. Late last season and in the NBA playoffs with the Nets, Griffin demonstrated what he could do both offensively and defensively with a lesser workload and he should absolutely flourish over the course of a full season in Brooklyn.
