Dwight Howard – 1 year, likely minimum

Dwight Howard is heading back to the Los Angeles Lakers for the third time, and this time it’s in the hopes of winning a second championship alongside LeBron James and Anthony Davis. He’ll join new Laker Russell Westbrook in the mix for this fascinating team.

Grade: B-

Wayne Ellington – 1 year, likely minimum

Wayne Ellington is heading to the Lakers as well after languishing for a season with the Detroit Pistons and not getting any traction in the trade market at the last NBA trade deadline. The Pistons hung on to him, but Ellington now gets to make his run at a championship in LA.

Grade: B-

Trevor Ariza – 1 year, likely minimum

Well, why not get the whole band back together again? Trevor Ariza is another former Laker heading back to LA in the quest for another purple and gold NBA championship.
