The Brooklyn Nets had the season that they have been looking forward to since they signed Kevin Durant to a deal despite him being out due to his Achilles injury. This paired him with the talents of Kyrie Irving who signed at the same time as Durant.
While this pair of superstars is dangerous, the Nets shook the entire of the NBA when they won the James Harden sweepstakes. This meant that they became one of the best offensive teams the game has seen. Adding Harden meant that the Nets automatically became contenders.
