Minnesota Timberwolves: 4 familiar faces in the Big3 league

Former T-Wolves player No. 4: Craig Smith
The most decorated former member of the Minnesota Timberwolves on this list is Craig Smith. Smith had a six-year NBA career that saw him play for three different teams, the Los Angeles Clippers, Portland Trail Blazers and of course, the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Smith was selected by Minnesota in the second round of the 2006 NBA Draft with the 36th overall pick. He played in all 82 games during his rookie season and started the final five. He appeared in 233 games for the Timberwolves and started 47 of them over his three seasons with the team. Smith averaged 8.9 points, 4.5 rebounds and 0.8 assists on 55.3 percent from the field while wearing the grey, green and blue.
During his rookie year, he earned All-Rookie 2nd Team honors. After his time with the Timberwolves, he spent time with the Los Angeles Clippers and Portland Trail Blazers before going overseas. Smith played in Israel and Hong Kong before making his way to the Big3.
Smith is yet another member of the Ghost Ballers, completing a trio of former Timberwolves players. This is his second year playing in the Big3 and he was selected fifth overall in the 2021 Big3 Draft. He has played in all three games for the Ghost Ballers, going 2-1 in that span. He has averaged 5.7 points, 2.3 rebounds and 1 assist per game in his 8.4 minutes per game. Smith has yet to really solidify himself as a face of the team in his second year.
