The Boston Celtics have the honor of holding the title of being one of the best-draftings teams through the 2010s.

As a result of this, they were able to not really go through a major rebuilding process after the departure of their big three of Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce, and Ray Allen from the team.

Danny Ainge is a huge reason the Celtics were able to perform so well in the NBA draft. He was an incredible GM for the Celtics. There were countless masterful trades and picks you could point out to prove this point.

One of those deals being the blockbuster trade that sent Garnett and Pierce to the Brooklyn Nets in return for a plethora of valuable draft picks.

The Boston Celtics were one of the best drafting teams in the 2010s. However, even they fall victim to a few picks that we wish would have worked out.

If it was not for this trade, players like Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown would not be members of the Celtics. This means the team would not have its core and likely would have one of the worst rosters in the entire league.

While the Celtics had vast success in the draft through the 2010s, there are still a few picks that could have worked out better for the team. It is far too early to put any players from the 2020 draft onto this list as a result of them only having a single season to prove themselves.

Lastly, this list is in chronological order and there is no official ranking as to which order the players are listed.
