Washington Wizards offseason move No. 4: Sign Tony Snell

The Wizards would like to add some more shooting but they need it to be low-volume and at a high percentage. This is where Tony Snell comes into the equation. Snell shot the ball at a very high level from deep last season.

He hit his 3-balls at 56.9 percent which would have officially led the NBA if he had made the minimum requirement. However, Snell only made 62 shots from beyond the long line for the Hawks.

He is a free agent, having just finished the last season of his contract after being traded to the Atlanta Hawks the last offseason. He lost his playing time as the Hawks gained healthy players back. However, he would be a key part of the Wizards rotation if they can sign him.

Westbrook needs to have shooters around him to be effective. Snell is happy taking less than five shots a game but needs to be guarded when he is on the court, such is the danger of leaving him open. Combining Snell with Davis Bertans and Beal on the perimeter will make the Wizards very dangerous and hard to defend.
