2021 NBA Draft: 27. Terrence Shannon Jr. Compares to Evan Fournier

When we think of Terrence Shannon Jr., we immediately think of Evan Fournier. During his time with Texas Tech, Shannon Jr. was able to put up points in a hurry.

The second-year player averaged 12.9 points a night in only 26.7 minutes. His shooting was solid overall, although he isn’t a deadeye. With shooting splits of 44.8/35.7/75.6, Shannon Jr. isn’t exactly intimidating but he isn’t someone you want to leave open either.

Like Shannon Jr., Fournier is all about offense. Whether he’s scoring in a starting role or providing his team with a lift offensively off the bench, few can match his overall offensive production. While their games are similar offensively, defensively, Shannon Jr. is on a whole other level. He’s a 3 and D level player who can create a little bit for himself off the bounce.
