2021 NBA Draft: 21. Tre Mann compares to C.J. McCollum

Another offensively gifted but reluctant ball mover is set to enter the league.

Tre Mann was terrific as a Florida Gator this past season. His freshman year was forgettable as he played a reserve role and chipped in only 5.3 points per game. He was better by a mile this past season, dropping 16 points a game, 5.6 rebounds and a decent 3.5 assists per night. Mann also proved to be a reliable source for 3-pointers, nailing 40.2% from behind the arc.

When looking at Mann, he mostly reminds us of C.J. McCollum from the Portland Trail Blazers.

Smooth with the ball in his hands and constantly moving without it, McCollum has turned into one of the league’s best scorers and shooters. Despite not having a single All-Star nod to his name, McCollum has averaged at least 20 points for the past six seasons. Once Mann gets accustomed to the NBA game, we believe he’ll be able to do the same.
