Following a 118-108 Game 2 win, the Phoenix Suns have taken a commanding 2-0 series lead over the Milwaukee Bucks in the 2021 NBA Finals. Suddenly, the Suns are now two wins away from their first NBA championship in franchise history.

Despite a promising start to the game from the Bucks that saw them reach out to an early nine-point lead in the first quarter, Phoenix used a roaring second quarter to outscore Milwaukee 30-16 and head into halftime up 56-45. From there, head coach Monty Williams’ squad never looked back.

Behind rising superstar Devin Booker, Mikal Bridges’ career-best performance, more brilliance from 11-time All-Star Chris Paul, and an efficiently hot shooting night, the Suns took care of business to defend home court once again. Similar to Game 1, they had control for the majority of the contest and seemed to express more intensity, hustle, and determination with the enthusiastic crowd of ‘The Valley’ certainly providing an assist.
