Ranking NBA Draft classes from 1995-2020: 13. 2016

To date, Ben Simmons has been the most decorated member of this draft class, but the winds of change are blowing. Simmons is a three-time All-Star, made one All-NBA team and was the runner-up for Defensive Player of the Year this season. He had a rough few weeks in the playoffs but now the door is open for others to get on his level.

Brandon Ingram and Jaylen Brown were picked right after Simmons in the draft and have already made the jump to being All-Stars. Ingram is the best offensive player of the bunch and Brown threads the needle between the two by being able to contribute on both ends.

Pascal Siakam and Domantas Sabonis are the only two players from this class to make an All-Star team and Siakam added an All-NBA team to the resume. Jamal Murray, Malcolm Brogdon and Caris LeVert have the potential to be the next two to make that list if they can stay consistently healthy for a change. Buddy Hield is an elite shooter waiting to find his way to a winning situation.

Malik Beasley may be the prospect that puts this draft over the top. His offensive game is impressive and he exploded in n expanded role with the Minnesota Timberwolves before his off-court life got in the way. If he can get that in check he is close to being something special.
