Detroit Pistons: Who might not return with Cade Cunningham on the way
By Corey Rausch
Winning the draft lottery changes a franchise, but having one of the worst records has led the Detroit Pistons to a chance to add a talent that will alter their path for the next decade. However, there is some change in the short term that needs to be addressed before any of the future plans can be made.
The Pistons have some pending free agents who they were already going to have to make some tough decisions on. Furthermore, the addition of a play-making wing like Cade Cunningham (the most likely number one pick) brings about some questions about the fit of some other players on the roster moving forward.
It is rumor season for the Detroit Pistons. With that in mind, who are the players most likely to be moved and who is likely to come back?
With that in mind, we are going to look at some free agents to-be as well as some of the rumored trade candidates and predict if they will be joining the number one pick in the Motor City come the Fall.
This is not going to be a review of everyone on the roster. We will start with three players involved in the most trade machine transactions for the Detroit Pistons. Then we will move on to the free agents and veterans they can choose to move on from. These decisions will be made with the idea that it will be Cade Cunningham being drafted with the top overall pick and how each of the players fit with the idea of a team with him on it.
