OKC Thunder: 5 potential destinations for Kemba Walker following trade

The point guard hungry New York Knicks could pursue Kemba Walker if he parts ways with OKC Thunder
Whenever a point guard’s name starts floating around in trade rumors, the New York Knicks are bound to come up at some point in the discussion.
Much like the aforementioned Bulls, the Knicks have been a turnstile for floor generals over the past several seasons. They saw success this year after trading for Derrick Rose in February, but he might be best suited to stay put in a sixth-man role if they decide to keep him around. Starting point guard Elfrid Payton will almost certainly play elsewhere next season as he was benched late in the playoffs in favor of Rose.
Adding a starting-caliber point guard on their to-do list the offseason, and it is only a matter of time before Walker gets linked to the Knicks in rumors. Despite his injury-plagued campaign this past year, the four-time All-Star would fit the bill for what this team has been searching for over the past several years. While he is not on the same level as Damian Lillard or Chris Paul, who are other potential targets for New York in the offseason, Walker would be an upgrade to what this team has now.
The Knicks finally ended their lengthy playoff drought this past season and will look to build off an impressive campaign with a busy offseason ahead. With core pieces like Julius Randle and RJ Barrett set to return, adding another household name like Walker into the mix is worth considering to improve their contending chances.
