The New York Knicks will likely bring back sharpshooter Reggie Bullock

After being limited to just 29 games last year, veteran swingman Reggie Bullock quickly carved out a role for himself this season on this rejuvenated New York team.

Starting in all but one of his 65 regular-season appearances, the sharpshooter was a reliable option for Thibodeau by averaging 10.9 points on .442/.410/.909 shooting splits, 3.4 rebounds, and 1.5 assists per game. The forward played a key role for the Knicks in the postseason also, and it seems feasible that the team would like to bring him back after playing arguably the best basketball of his career this season.

According to the New York Post’s Marc Berman, sources say that there is potentially some mutual interest from Bullock to stay put with the Knicks as well. In addition to citing the coaching relationship with Thibodeau as one prominent reason, sticking around seems only more feasible as the team holds his bird rights entering free agency. While opposing teams will like to get their hands on the sharpshooter to improve their floor spacing, he will almost certainly be among New York’s top priorities in free agency this offseason.

After a solid bounce-back year with the Knicks, Bullock will likely have earned himself a nice raise to stay put in the Big Apple and continue to build something special.
