Brooklyn Nets: 3 crucial goals for their run through the NBA playoffs
Brooklyn Nets playoff goals No. 2: Fix their rebounding issues
During the regular season, the Nets were a decent rebounding team. They were fifth in the league in defensive rebounds but 27th in offensive rebounds per game. This meant they were 14th in the league in total rebounds.
However, where the Nets need to fix their rebounding is that they are giving up too many offensive rebounds. They were 26th in the league in this category which as they make it deeper into the playoffs is going to hurt the team.

They lost the rebounding battle against the Boston Celtics. The Celtics took 41.4 rebounds per game compared to the 38.8 per game for the Nets. They were outrebounded 58-47 against the Bucks. While they pulled out the victory against the Bucks the problems will come next round should they make it.
The Atlanta Hawks have Clint Capela in the middle who was the best rebounder in the NBA last season. He is a beast on the boards at both ends of the court. If the Philadelphia 76ers make it through then the Nets need to find a way to stop Joel Embiid on the boards.
If either of these centers dominates the offensive rebounds, it will be difficult for the Nets to progress, assuming they get past the Bucks.
